Terms And Conditions

In addition to founding AMP 20+ years ago, I has an extensive payment processing background, having started several merchant service companies.

My business path has gone from corporate America to becoming an entrepreneur and independent business owner in the payment processing industry.

Following college, I worked as an Investment Banker at Lehman Brothers in the Corporate Finance/Mergers & Acquisitions Group and specialized in transactions ranging from $500 million – $1 billion.

Although working 80-100 hours, I didn’t feel vested in the deals, and this wasn’t what I wanted in my professional life.

I deferred business school and decided to leave my fast-paced, well-paying position to start Charge Card Systems Inc, a  2-person business selling credit card processing services (the acceptance of Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) to local businesses in New York City.

Fast forward – our company grew to over 500 sales agents with 3 regional offices. In 2012, our business was sold to Card Connect, their largest acquisition at that time; in 2017, the company was acquired by First Data for $750 MM.

During my journey within the payment processing industry, I have started several niche payments companies in addition to AMP that include:

  • CEO & Founder – ToolBox Payment LLC; www.toolboxpayment.com
  • President, Merchant Advocate Ventures; www.merchantadvocate.com
  • CEO & Co-Founder LexCharge LLC; www.lexcharge.com
  • CEO and Founder – Keep The Fees LLC; www.keepthefees.com
  • Advisory Board Member and Educational Author for The Green Sheet (leading trade journal to the payments industry)
  • Presidents Council and ISO Advisory Board Member, First Data
  • Amazon #1 best-selling author of 5 business books & 1 book co-authored with my daughter
  • Entrepreneur Magazine and The Business Journal, Contributing Writer
  • Young Presidents Organization member since 2006
  • CEO & Co-Founder – Charge Card Systems Inc.
